This is a question I answered recently.
Question: "How feasible is to obtain a j1 waiver job as a hematologist/oncologist?"
Answer: it is very feasible to obtain a J-1 waiver, and it is excellent that you are starting the process of inquiring now. Physician immigration is a nuanced area of immigration law, so it is helpful to consult with an attorney experienced in this practice. J-1 waivers are available in every state and a few territories. There are also wonderful federal programs that sponsor J-1 waivers. The more open you are geographically, the better the possibilities.
