Most US medical boards require two or three years of ACGME training for licensure. The Georgia Composite Medical Board will accept IMGs with only one year of ACGME approved training if their medical school is listed on the "Medical Schools Recognized by the Medical Board of California" website

If an IMGs medical school is not listed on the "Medical Schools Recognized by the Medical Board of California" website they must complete three years of post graduate training in a program accredited by the ACGME.
