This is really a challange when a husband and wife are both looking for positions and are on J1 visa's. The key is to be flexible and open-minded with your geographical preferences.  Many times physicians will go on the interview, love the practice, the people and the area and decide to sign with this practice. In my 20 years as a physician recruiter, numerous physicians have chosen positions that were not in the area or state they originally preferred.
